An awesome experience. Was brought here by a friend who knows his steak and wine-it was fascinating. the food was excellent if unrefined-the salad was a whole iceberg lettuce cut into quarters, the steaks half a cow, the mutton chop took up the side of one table, the oysters rockefeller and crab cakes for those who did not want the chops were fabulous. a real new york experience, and the desserts were also to die for. the decor alone makes this a must seee; best steaks in NYC according to my chum. nice staff makes it overall the tops for NYC, real olde world charm.
